who are you callin' a pig?

When I started at the West Palm Beach Public Library on Monday my supervisor handed me a script to the play that I would be in on Halloween. Yes, that's right 2 days later on Halloween. It was a short play, more of a skit, called The Three Little Pigs on Halloween.

The Florida expiriment...

As promised, I am finally getting a blog up and running. Really I'm posting to a blog that has been just waiting for such a day as this.

Monday was my first day of work here in Florida. As a sidebar the "sunshine state" is currently incredibly windy and rainy-thanks Hurricane Noel. It appears that I may soon experience my first tropical storm. On the bright side the storm shouldn't directly hit FL. Also, the waves on the ocean huge and beautiful.

I'm still on the hunt for a place to stay. Once I find a new home I'll post pictures here. In the meantime I'm staying with my friend Karin who is a wonderful hostess. It's been fun to share this experience with someone.
